Michael Lippert
Michael Lippert is an award-winning writer/director/editor who has worked in both independent and commercial filmmaking for nearly 20 years. Michael’s keen eye for raw performances and compelling visuals has been recognized at top festivals, including Palm Springs, Doc Edge, and Heartland. Most recently, Michael completed his feature documentary, Sloane: A Jazz Singer, now available on PBS and Amazon Prime. Michael has also edited spots at Cutters Studios since 2008, where his work for major brands has been featured on multiple Super Bowl broadcasts.

Katie Bryan
Katie Bryan is a seasoned broadcast producer with more than two decades’ experience in film, advertising and reality television. Her portfolio includes working with distributors like Showtime, Discovery Channel, CNBC and History Channel. Her first feature film, Dead Draw, won Audience Choice at the San Diego International Film Festival 2016, Best of Festival Metropolitan Film Festival of NYC 2016, and Best Ensemble Cast SOHO International Film Festival. As Executive Producer, she is currently in post production on a new Jonathan Rhys Meyers film, The Paralytic.

Mike Bove is an Emmy-winning cinematographer. His first film, Uncle John, premiered as part of the narrative competition at SXSW in 2015. The Replacement won Best Short at the London Sci-Fi Film Festival. And Bettendorf Talks, a comedy pilot, premiered at SXSW in 2024. Mike has also done spots for major brands, as well as iconic opening title sequences for Apple+, Marvel, and Netflix. His music video work features Hozier, Regina Spektor and White Reaper. Mike has 3 Emmy awards as well as a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award for his work on sports documentaries that have aired on ESPN.

Manuel Peréz Peña
An alum of the esteemed AFI School of Filmmaking, Manuel has worked on countless projects and feature films for the last 20 plus years. He brought two of Michael Lippert’s previous genre projects to life (Miriam is Going to Mars and Reversal). Feature work includes Beneath The Dark (SXSW 2010) and Family Weekend, starring Matthew Modine. Manuel has also spent the last three decades working at Cutters Studios as their in-house Studio Designer, and has served as Production Designer and Art Director for various projects under their production arm, Dictionary Films.

L. Taylor Arnold
L. Taylor Arnold is an Intellectual Property Attorney with a background in Patent, Trademark, Copyright, and Contract Law for film, screen and music productions, and is Counsel to numerous North Carolina-based artists and inventors. A long-time resident of North Carolina, Taylor received his technical training at North Carolina State University and his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University School of Law. He is named as an inventor on several U.S. Patents, and still tinkers with new product ideas. Most recently, he Co-produced the documentary Sloane: A Jazz Singer, now available on PBS and Amazon Prime.

Mike Ferrell
Originally from the Raleigh-Durham, Mike is a UNC Chapel Hill alum (School of Journalism) specializing in documentaries and branded entertainment. His work is rooted in curiosity and care, exploring themes of identity, place, and connection. He loves developing stories and bringing them to life, whether through independent projects or brand collaborations. Mike is a passionate advocate for the outdoors and environmental conservation, driven by a commitment to protect natural spaces for future generations and the stories and experiences waiting to be discovered.

LYNNETTE M. MYERS
Lynnette M. Meyers is an award-winning filmmaker recognized for delivering giant results across every budget level. Lynnette has successfully helmed projects for major networks including HBO, HGTV, and Food Network, spanning features, commercials, and digital series. Known for her inclusive leadership and high-energy sets, she excels at managing complex, global productions without sacrificing artistic intimacy. A pillar of the creative community, Lynnette actively mentors the next generation of filmmakers through her work with BAFTA, AFI, and The Special Olympics.
